CASE STUDY – TIER 1 AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER

 PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Manufacture 200 assemblies for Tier 1 Automotive Supplier.

 BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Automotive Supplier failed to watch inventory levels on this assembly and was faced with their customer having to shut down their truck assembly line ; which would have immediate and drastic financial impacts.

 PROJECT TIMELINE:

Started equipment install at ETI FAB on a Monday and have product manufactured in 10 days.

 EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

160 Ton Stamping Press, 110 Ton Stamping Press, 60 Ton Press Brake, Spot Welder and Chiller Unit

RESULTS:

200 pieces boxed and ready to go on day 7 @ 10:30am
